903 possum is subscribing witness to a will

possum   p=9, s=0, m=3.  You have a friend who is an idiot lawyer, but he said he would help you with your will, because he writes a lot of wills.  You wait for the subscribing witnesses to show up to witness the will and in walks a giant possum.  You wonder how he will testify later and the lawyer tells you a subscribing witnesses testimony is unnecessary, unless the Texas Ranger outside wants it.

Rule 903.  Subscribing Witness's Testimony
A subscribing witness's testimony is necessary to authenticate a writing only if required by the law of the jurisdiction that governs its validity.
